This post will always stay on the top. To see the latest happenings in the Little Webb Family, please scroll down, but not before you take this post into serious consideration!
I'm not someone who talks a lot and says what I feel or think...but when I do, I hope people listen because I feel what I do say is important. The last couple of weeks, I have had a thought come into my mind, but I keep pushing it away thinking that if I really need to do this I will truly know it. Every day this thought keep recurring to me and after what I heard today in the news, I felt I need to do this. I ask you to please read all of this. I know a lot of you that may read this don't share my faith and I have never pushed you into believing as I do because I wanted you to respect me and not be offended....but I am willing to risk my friendship with you right now to let you know what I need to tell you. Please don't stop reading this. It is very important to me for you to read this.
I truly believe with ALL my heart that Jesus is coming soon.....sooner than we all think He is. I have been really concerned about fears I have had for my children. Those fears are resolved, even though Satan does try to stir me up about it at times...........but I need to tell you all too about Jesus because I want to make sure you go to Heaven with me too!
I know it is hard for some of you to believe in something you cannot see........but if you trust me and have respect for me believe me when I say Jesus is real!! He is more real to me than anything in this world. I believe with all my heart, soul and mind that He did come to this earth, lived among us, died to save us and is living in my heart! I want you all to believe this too! Please do try to seek Him out and have Him to help you to see He is real too! He will if you ask Him!
When you have assurance that what I say is true, please consider the following things. You cannot get to Heaven and receive salvation from sin unless you do the following. Please do not stop reading! Please!
In the Bible (I am using the New Living Translation), there are verses to help us know our need for God. The first verse is Romans 3:23. It says For all have sinned; all fall short of God's standard. This pretty much says we all are not perfect. No one is perfect. You can do lots of good things and say a lot of nice things, but we all still do bad things whether we admit it or not. I've been accused many times of being a Miss Goody Two-Shoes, but I am here to say I AM NOT! I try to be good and kind because I want people to see Jesus in me, but in my mind I am a terrible person. I know I cannot get into Heaven based on my kindness or whatever deed I do.....and neither can you. In God's eyes, sin is all the same.....whether we think bad things or go out and kill someone. It is all the same. According to Romans 6:23 the wages of sin is death....if we do not ask God to forgive us we will be separated from Him forever. You are probably thinking "so what? What do I need with God". You need Him more than you think. God gave us life and even if we don't care one iota for Him, He cares for you so much. He cares for us even though we treat Him like crap....and we do. I treat Him that way...but yet He still loves me and I can't imagine.......I don't want to imagine....being without Him.
Well, what can we do? Our world lives like we can do all things on our own.....so what can we do to get God's acceptance of us? In Titus 3:5 the Bible says He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. Then Romans 5:8 says But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. God sent Jesus to come to us to die for us on the cross. Jesus had the opportunity to not do it, but He did. I often wonder why did He have to die. But if you think of it.....would you die for someone who did something bad in their place? I might for my children, but I certainly wouldn't for you or anyone else....but Jesus did! It was the ultimate sacrifice. Is there any more of a way to show your love for someone? I think not at all. Because of His death, He took our penalty of sin so we would not have to suffer it.......but we have to accept that He did this. If we don't, we will take the penalty ourselves. We will be sent to Hell. I know a lot of people say "If God loves us why would He send us to Hell?" God is giving us a choice. If He made you follow Him, would you respect Him? Remember when you were a child....when your parents told you to do something and disciplined you, did you think "Gee! Thanks Mom and Dad! I'm so glad you are making me do this even though I'd rather do something else!" NO! Of course not! God doesn't want to force us to do something either. He wants you to love him and know how much He cares for you but He isn't going to force you to love Him. All you need to do is what John 1:12 says....But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God. John 3:16 says it all....For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
If you want to become one of God's own, just say this little prayer or one of your own. All you need to do is tell God you are a sinner and need His forgiveness and that you want Him in your life. This prayer will guide you if you need help:
Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need you in my life. Please forgive me of all I have done and please be the Lord of my life. Thank you for coming to earth and dying for me. Thank you for being my Saviour! Amen!
If you didn't pray this, I beg of you to please consider it before it is too late. I love you very much and want you to be in Heaven with me. Please if you have questions, go to another Christian you respect or email me (see link to right) and we will most certainly help you!
Thank you for reading this and please take this seriously. I love you too much not to say anything.

Splish Splash We Were Taking a Bath
Monday I thought I'd try giving both of the kiddos a bath at the same time. It was so much easier! Natalee didn't cry like she usually does since she had her big brother to entertain her and Nathan wasn't trying to "help" give Natalee a bath. First Visit to Church
Today we went to church for the first time since having Natalee. I am not quite ready to dump her in the nursery, so she got to visit our Sunday School class and sit in big church with Nathan. She did such a good job. Slept the whole time. It was so good to be back at church. I missed it so much. It's funny but church is the only place I really feel like I belong........everywhere else I feel like an outsider but there I feel at ease......I guess because I am with extended family. :-)
The past two days, Nathan has been having trouble with not having as much attention as he is used to. At church today, everyone was excited to see Natalee. Nathan asked me "Why does everyone want to see Natalee"? I tried to tell him she was a new baby and people wanted to see her. I'm not sure if he really understood. I have been feeling bad because he gets so upset about not having all the attention and no one to play with him constantly as we used to. Saturday he got a bit put out with me because I was talking to Natalee. He told me he didn't want to sit with me because of that. It made me cry because I just don't know how to handle giving them both the time they want. But today in the paper, there was an article in there that was definitely for me. I have been praying constantly to God on what to do and there it was! The article was about how to deal with 3 years olds when a new baby comes into the home. How funny is that! Just what I needed! The article was so good! It described everything I was feeling and made me feel better on how I have been handing things. The article said that older siblings will feel left out but it is normal and it is definitely a good thing for them. Having someone else to take attention away from them will teach them that life isn't centered around them.......and it would teach them on how to deal with life later on when people treat them differently, as far as their peers in school. That made me feel so much better about things. It is still hard........especially just this moment when I had to get after him for being so rough on Natalee........he just got up and walked off to sit away from me........but I have to remember it will make him a better person in the end...........even if it will cause him to be a bit put out with me a while.

Nathan found some Bubba teeth in our dresser drawer and decided to try them out. He got a big kick wearing them.

God's Grace
A new neighbor of ours down the street came by today with her two little boys (1 and 2 year old). They played with Nathan while we sat and rested a bit (Natalee was asleep in her crib). We were talking about how I felt. With Nathan it took me forever to feel normal again. It seemed like I was sore and just out of sorts for weeks.......but with Natalee I seriously bounced back a day or two after we arrived home. My neighbor mentioned something that I never realized and when she said it it made me feel so loved by God. She said it was only God's Grace that each delivery and recovery is so much easier because He knows we need the extra strength to take care of the other children we have along with the baby. That makes so much sense to me! Everyone I have talked to have told me how fast they recovered with the second and third child.........it didn't make sense to me why then but now it does. It's that so neat! God is so loving, isn't He?

Milk
Natalee's Big Brother is just a little bit tooooooooooo helpful when it comes to his little sister. I caught him just a bit ago with his finger in her mouth. When I asked him what he was doing, he said "Natalee likes my milk!" It dawned on me...........he thinks he has milk to feed her in his finger like I have milk in me to feed her. I had to let him know real quick he doesn't have milk in his finger........but he doesn't believe me.
Goodness......I'm in for quite an adventure with these two.

2 Week Doctor Check-UP

Natalee went for her 2 week check-up today. Nathan, Natalee and I all went out by ourselves for the first time also. Everything went really well! Natalee gained 11 ozs and grew 1/2" since her last appointment 10 days ago. She is now officially 8 lbs 0oz and 21" long.
I was really proud of Nathan. He is usually TERRIFIED of the doctor but he did so well today helping me with Natalee and being a big boy at the office. The doctor and nurses were so impressed with him, he left there with three prizes from the treasure box.
After the doctor, I took Nathan to the mall to let him play on the playground before we had to rush home to meet a friend of mine who is bringing us supper. On the way out to the van after playing, Nathan announced he had to potty. I asked him to wait just a minute because I was just putting Natalee in her carseat.......but poor Nathan had to GO! Right there in the parking lot, he jerked his pants down all the way to his ankles, aimed his thing up in the sky and made a rainbow right there in broad daylight before I could stop him. He was trying to help Momma out by doing it himself - but not too discreetly like we usually do. ha ha!

Rough Night and Pay Back
Natalee and I had a rough night last night so we didn't get to go to church for the first time with her like I hoped. I must have ate something that didn't agree with her for she had a bad stomach ache all night. We both got about 2 hours of sleep.
I noticed since becoming a momma of two that I am getting paid back for all the times I laughed at my Mamaw. Mamaw would always go through the list of grandkids, calling you by every name except your own. I have been doing that. I've been calling Nathan Natalee and a she.........and Natalee has been called Nathan and him. I am getting paid back for sure. ha ha!

Harmonica Show
My family came over Sunday to see Natalee. Her Great-Grandparents got to see her for the first time. While they were here, Nathan put on a show.
Yogurt Baby
Natalee has been eating yogurt to help her stomach settle the gas down. She is quite a messy little eater.Friday, June 13, 2008
Changes

Natalee went back to the doctor today to check her jaundice. It is going away! Thank goodness! She had also gained 2 ounces since her appointment yesterday.
Nathan just absolutely LOVES his little sister. It is so strange how he has changed overnite. Last night was his first night home with all of us (he stayed with grandparents while we were at hospital and first night home). He seems like a different person. He went right to bed without us having to fuss with him......didn't even get up during the night. All day he has been so helpful with Natalee and us.
When he came home last night, I even saw him different physically. Before Natalee came, he seemed so little to me. Now, he seems so much like a big boy. In a way it is sad that he is growing up so fast.

Doctor's Appointment
Natalee had to go see her pediatrician today. I wasn't sure why she had to see him so early until we went. She has a mild case of jaundice. Tripp and I have O type blood, but Natalee has A. When my blood crossed hers in the placenta, it caused jaundice to occur. The doctor isn't concerned about it getting worse but does want us to come back tomorrow to see if it changes now that my milk has come in.
She checked out really well! When we left hospital, she weighed 7lbs 3 ozs and had maintained that weight today. Everyone in the office was so excited to see her.
I had to consult with my doctor today too. When I woke up this morning, I looked like the bride of the Michelin Tire Man. My face, lips, hands, feet and ankles are really swollen. Doctor said I was retaining water from the IV fluids. I will be having to drink lots of water for the next couple of days to flush it all out.
Sleep was still hard last night. Natalee seems to be nervous still with her surroundings and has started using me as a pacifer. We were told it was okay to let her suck on a pacifer even though she is nursing. So we will try that tonight when we lay her in the crib and see how that goes.

Tuesday Night

The night went well as far as Natalee sleeping until a nurse came in at midnite to do a heel stick. A heel stick is pretty much taking a razor, cutting the bottom of her heel, and collecting blood. Why in the world they chose to do it at midnite on the first night we all were actually getting some sleep......I do not know. After that it was all pretty much downhill as you can imagine. But....the good news is, we should be able to go home today. We were recommended to take a class that goes over the discharge process out of the hospital....but if we cannont make it, we were told our morning nurse can explain it to us. I have a feeling we will not make it. Ha ha! How hard can it be to get out of here? Ha Ha!
Moma sent some pictures to our email that Daddy took last night that were so good of Natalee. I just had to post them on here. Natalee is such a cutie pie. Last night I bent down over her bassinett, hoping to calm her down. We got nose to nose and she just looked at me, checking our her Momma. Her big eyes were so inquisitive of who I am. It was neat.

Monday Night/Tuesday
Hi everyone! All is well with the new addition to our little family.
Last night, Natalee had a bit of a tummy ache and we ended up putting her in the nursery for a bit. We had been up since Sunday morning (we had a hard time sleeping Sunday night from excitement) so we had to get some sleep. I felt a bit guilty shipping her off, but I'm glad we did even though it was for just a couple of hours.
Today, I had my surgery. All went well with that and I am feeling quite good. We still plan to go home tomorrow.
Natalee had some pictures taken today at the hospital. Here is the website to check them out.

Thank you to all who have stopped by, called, emailed and brought gifts to us. We appreciate everything so much! When we get home, feel free to stop by and see us!

She's Here!

She's here! Natalee Allyson Webb made her arrival at 10:09 am this morning. She came earlier than we all expected! I was hollering I needed to push NOW and the nurses didn't think so....but in 5 minutes I went from 8 cm to 10 cm and out came 7 lb 14 oz 20 1/2 " Natalee. We had a bit of a scare after she came out. She came so fast that she had a lot of fluid built up in her lungs. It took quite a while for her to get to where she could breathe normally, but now she seems to be doing very well.
Nathan is very excited about his little sister. He just loves on her constantly and she doesn't much like it. ha ha!
Tomorrow at 7am, I will be having my surgery to tie my tubes. I had a few complications after delivery from not being able to stop bleeding, but things are getting back to "normal" somewhat now.
Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts!

Monday is the BIG day!
I went to the doctor today for my 39 week appointment. I told the doctor I have been having contractions and he checked my cervix to see if anything has changed. I have dilated to 4 cm. He told me if I wanted to wait to see if she will come on her own we could (he said he would let me go up to 41 weeks) or I could be induced. I am so miserable I decided to go ahead and be induced. I was induced with Nathan so I know what to expect. So, we will go in Monday at 5 am to be induced.......and hopefully sometime that afternoon, we should have a baby girl!
I can't wait! I am so anxious to have this over with and done. I found out too that one of my friends is being induced at the same time as I. That will be neat to have someone there with us that we know.
I am also going to have surgery either after delivery (if I have an epidural) or on Tuesday (with anesthesia if I don't have epidural) to have my tubes tied. I will probably be home Wednesday if everything goes well.
Can't wait for you all to meet Natalee!

False Labor??
At 8:00 this morning, I woke up having contractions. They were dull but pretty constant. A little later, I lost more of my mucus plug (lost some of it 2 weeks ago). I thought for sure this was the day! I was so excited! But around 1:00, the contractions stopped. They never did get any stronger, but they kept being regular. I was so confused as to whether it was real or not. I was so disappointed to learn after 1:00 that I must have been having false labor.
I am soooo ready to get this over with........last night was awful for me. I woke up around 2:00 and threw up all over the bedroom floor and then again in the bathroom floor. Tripp is such a sweet husband. He got up and cleaned it up while I continued to be sick. I kept thinking I will be so glad to get this pregnancy over and done with. I really haven't enjoyed any of it....so you can imagine the let down for me today.........but I have to keep thinking I still have a few more days left. Thankfully it is days instead of months or weeks.
