Having some place to go is Home - Having someone to love is Family - Having both is a Blessing

Because I Love You!

This post will always stay on the top. To see the latest happenings in the Little Webb Family, please scroll down, but not before you take this post into serious consideration!

I'm not someone who talks a lot and says what I feel or think...but when I do, I hope people listen because I feel what I do say is important. The last couple of weeks, I have had a thought come into my mind, but I keep pushing it away thinking that if I really need to do this I will truly know it. Every day this thought keep recurring to me and after what I heard today in the news, I felt I need to do this. I ask you to please read all of this. I know a lot of you that may read this don't share my faith and I have never pushed you into believing as I do because I wanted you to respect me and not be offended....but I am willing to risk my friendship with you right now to let you know what I need to tell you. Please don't stop reading this. It is very important to me for you to read this.

I truly believe with ALL my heart that Jesus is coming soon.....sooner than we all think He is. I have been really concerned about fears I have had for my children. Those fears are resolved, even though Satan does try to stir me up about it at times...........but I need to tell you all too about Jesus because I want to make sure you go to Heaven with me too!

I know it is hard for some of you to believe in something you cannot see........but if you trust me and have respect for me believe me when I say Jesus is real!! He is more real to me than anything in this world. I believe with all my heart, soul and mind that He did come to this earth, lived among us, died to save us and is living in my heart! I want you all to believe this too! Please do try to seek Him out and have Him to help you to see He is real too! He will if you ask Him!

When you have assurance that what I say is true, please consider the following things. You cannot get to Heaven and receive salvation from sin unless you do the following. Please do not stop reading! Please!

In the Bible (I am using the New Living Translation), there are verses to help us know our need for God. The first verse is Romans 3:23. It says For all have sinned; all fall short of God's standard. This pretty much says we all are not perfect. No one is perfect. You can do lots of good things and say a lot of nice things, but we all still do bad things whether we admit it or not. I've been accused many times of being a Miss Goody Two-Shoes, but I am here to say I AM NOT! I try to be good and kind because I want people to see Jesus in me, but in my mind I am a terrible person. I know I cannot get into Heaven based on my kindness or whatever deed I do.....and neither can you. In God's eyes, sin is all the same.....whether we think bad things or go out and kill someone. It is all the same. According to Romans 6:23 the wages of sin is death....if we do not ask God to forgive us we will be separated from Him forever. You are probably thinking "so what? What do I need with God". You need Him more than you think. God gave us life and even if we don't care one iota for Him, He cares for you so much. He cares for us even though we treat Him like crap....and we do. I treat Him that way...but yet He still loves me and I can't imagine.......I don't want to imagine....being without Him.

Well, what can we do? Our world lives like we can do all things on our own.....so what can we do to get God's acceptance of us? In Titus 3:5 the Bible says He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. Then Romans 5:8 says But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. God sent Jesus to come to us to die for us on the cross. Jesus had the opportunity to not do it, but He did. I often wonder why did He have to die. But if you think of it.....would you die for someone who did something bad in their place? I might for my children, but I certainly wouldn't for you or anyone else....but Jesus did! It was the ultimate sacrifice. Is there any more of a way to show your love for someone? I think not at all. Because of His death, He took our penalty of sin so we would not have to suffer it.......but we have to accept that He did this. If we don't, we will take the penalty ourselves. We will be sent to Hell. I know a lot of people say "If God loves us why would He send us to Hell?" God is giving us a choice. If He made you follow Him, would you respect Him? Remember when you were a child....when your parents told you to do something and disciplined you, did you think "Gee! Thanks Mom and Dad! I'm so glad you are making me do this even though I'd rather do something else!" NO! Of course not! God doesn't want to force us to do something either. He wants you to love him and know how much He cares for you but He isn't going to force you to love Him. All you need to do is what John 1:12 says....But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God. John 3:16 says it all....For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

If you want to become one of God's own, just say this little prayer or one of your own. All you need to do is tell God you are a sinner and need His forgiveness and that you want Him in your life. This prayer will guide you if you need help:

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need you in my life. Please forgive me of all I have done and please be the Lord of my life. Thank you for coming to earth and dying for me. Thank you for being my Saviour! Amen!

If you didn't pray this, I beg of you to please consider it before it is too late. I love you very much and want you to be in Heaven with me. Please if you have questions, go to another Christian you respect or email me (see link to right) and we will most certainly help you!

Thank you for reading this and please take this seriously. I love you too much not to say anything.

Dedication

Today, we went to my grandparents' church so my grandpa could dedicate Natalee to the Lord. It was such a sweet little service and Natalee did so good! We had 4 generations represented on my side of the family! Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us and for praying with us for our kiddos!

Cubbie and Spark AWANA Cookout

Saturday night, AWANA had a Fall Cookout for the 3 year olds up to 2nd graders. It was a lot of fun. Nathan and I (Tripp decided to stay home with Natalee and keep warm - the pansy! ha ha!) rode around on a hayride, ate hotdogs and chili, smores, and had fun with all our friends. It was good to see Nathan interacting with all his little friends.

Here are a couple of pictures I got off my camera from Disney on Ice. Would you believe when I got home, I found batteries in my camera case......figures. ha ha!

Scary Fact

This book that I told you I am reading in the previous post is really good! I just started Chapter 3 and it is describing how children today are. I just read a paragraph that really upset me and it is so true. I want to type it for you now:

Children today are less sensitive to human life. Children today do not value human life as the children of previous generations did. Thanks to television, watching people die or be killed is a normal daily occurence. Because of this, children's hearts are hardening. They see people as objects, not creations of God. This attitude can cause children to show little response to the sacrifice and pain of Christ's death.

That last sentence really scared me. That really makes a lot of sense to me. If you see death all the time, Christ's death on the cross will seem as nothing unusual. What a scary thought.

If you have kids or work with kids, do read this book. It is really good! It is called The Faith of a Child by Art Murphy.

I LOVE Jesus!!!

Ever since Nathan was born, there was something I have always worried and struggled with. I have asked several people their opinion on it and 9 out of 10 times I got reprimanded for worrying about it. Well, the last couple of months, it has really been bothering me even more....especially more so with our pastor and emails floating around speaking of the return of Jesus to be more closer than we think with the signs going on in our world.

A week or two ago, I asked Jesus to please give me an answer to what I am worried about. Praise the LORD, HE DID!! TONIGHT!!!!

I have been worried that if Jesus came back or if Nathan or Natalee was killed right now, what would happen to them? I have tried to think and find things in the Bible that would tell me, but I just could not find anything to satisfy my fear. I was so afraid that if Jesus came, I would have to see them be thrown into Hell without me. I told Jesus that even though I believe in Him and don't want to be without Him, I just could not bear to be in Heaven without my children.

I went to the Mom's group I go to every other week and I happened to be the first one there. The leaders of the group told me they brought in some books that moms could check out to read. I went over and found a lot of parenting books. I picked up one and this little voice in my head said "No don't get that one......keep looking." So, I found one called "The Faith of a Child". I picked it up and felt really good about it and checked it out. While waiting in line to vote today, I read the introduction and the writer stated he was not an expert on the subject by any means but was definitely inspired by God to write this book.

Just now, I started reading the first chapter............and it read..........If your child was to died as an infant or young child, s/he will be with Jesus..........and there was Bible verses to back it up. I sat there and cried. God answered my prayer and has given me assurance that my kiddos are okay.........that I need to keep telling them about Him and when the time is right, they will understand their need for salvation.........that it is all in HIS timing, not mine........and that GOD wants them for HIS own just as much as I want them to be............You can't believe the relief I feel.

I will sleep GOOD tonight! I love you JESUS! Thank you for my answer!

Disney On Ice and Mashed Tators

Last night we went to see Disney on Ice. Nathan absolutely LOVED it! We had such a good time. Unfortunately I took a couple of pictures and then my camera battery died. I will steal some from my sister and post for you all......along with the few I did get.

Tonight we went to eat at Cracker Barrel. Even though Natalee hasn't been given the green light for solids yet, I couldn't resist giving her some of my mashed potatoes. The child begged for them! I gave her some of mine and Nathan's. She pitched a small fit when I wouldn't feed her more, but I figured I better just give a bit. She is really going to love eating real food soon!

My Sweet Boy!

Okay......I am an overly proud Mommy today! I don't know if I had forwarded emails to you about a little boy at my church who was badly burned earlier this year. He spent months up North recovering from his injuries and just recently got to come home. Last Sunday night, he came to church for the first time. I don't know if any of you have had experience with people who have been severly burned, but it is very hard to see how much it affects someone, especially someone young as Nathan's little friend.....but I have to tell you, my Nathan did something today at church that made me sooo proud. While I was singing in the choir, I saw Nathan and Tripp interacting with this little guy who was sitting in front of them. Then when I came down from singing, Nathan was sitting beside him drawing pictures. I was so happy! But the next thing I heard Nathan did was the best of them all! His Sunday School teacher last year came up to me and told me that when she took Nathan and the little guy off to Children's Church, Nathan grabbed Garrett's hand and walked all the way to the classroom holding his hand!

I am so proud of him! He got himself a BIG ol' Hershey bar today for being such a good friend to Garrett. Wouldn't it be great if all of us could be such a good example of love like Jesus would show to others like Nathan did today! Proud Proud Proud Mommy I am today!!! :-)

4 Month Check-Up

Natalee went for her 4 month check-up today. I didn't realize it but she was to get 5 shots and a polio vaccine orally today. We had a different nurse this time so her reaction was much better than last time. The silly little girl cried but as soon as it was over she cackled out loud at the nurse picking at her. Such a sweetie she is!

She weighed 13 pounds 1 ounce and is 25 inches long. And guess what....her clicking hip she had 2 months ago...........it is no more! It disappeared! Yippie!!! Good news today!

More Pics from Camping

My mom sent us some pictures they took while camping. The lady in the first two pictures was the Chicken Lady at Dollywood. There is a chicken restaurant called "Mrs. Lillian's". This lady comes out and sings with her rubber chicken while you eat. It is a lot of fun!

RiverPark

Tripp took off work today and we spent the day at the Riverpark. Tripp and Nathan had a good time playing soccer while Natalee and I sat on the blanket and played. Natalee is getting where she giggles out loud and she and I were having a good time laughing. Then, we went to ride the carousel. This was Natalee's first time on the ride. She seemed to like it. Several people looked in the window to watch her ride. She was all bugged-eyed as we went round and round.

Natalee's First Carousel Ride

Veggie Tales Live

Last night we went to see Veggie Tales Live! The kiddos had so much fun! Nathan was dancing the 'Boyz in the Sink' dance in the aisle and Natalee was so excited the girl wanted to STAND in my lap for about 90% of the show so she could see and wave her arms in excitement. The show was okay....but I have to admit I enjoyed the show my kiddos put on much better.

TV Buddies

These two were good TV buddies Thursday morning. They looked so sweet when I peered at them on the couch.
