Future Ornament Snatcher

Green Beans are YUCK!!!

Natalee had her first taste of green beans. She thought they were yucky and spit them out. Ha ha! She loves the other foods she has tasted, which are applesauce and potatoes.

Oh Christmas Tree!

I couldn't wait any longer.....the tree went up today! Nathan and Natalee was sooooo excited! Nathan helped put on the ornaments all by himself and Natalee justed squealed and cooed! Natalee didn't make it to see the completed tree till later, but loved the light part. Ha ha! It was a lot of fun! We surprised Tripp too. He had no idea we had put it up till he came home. I'm anxious to put up the outdoor lights after Thanksgiving!

More Wild Jumping

Natalee did something today in the saucer I've never seen her do before. She was a having a lot of fun jumping! This video doesn't do justice for the wild jumping she did BEFORE I started videoing. She is so funny!

Chief Nathan

The children at church are going to have a Christmas musical next month about children all over the world. The parents were asked to come up with a costume representing a different country. Last year for AWANA, my mom made Nathan a chief hat to wear for Thanksgiving Day....so I thought I could take that and make an Indian outfit to match. I am NOT a sewer but took the challenge. I have to admit it turned out pretty cute!

Wall Art

Nathan LOVES to draw....but tends to leave his masterpieces for all to see in bad places. Tripp found this little smiley face family on the living room wall. Nathan confessed to other little happy families hanging out on his and our bedroom walls too.

Sick!

Since last Thursday, Nathan has been sick with a runny nose and a touch of diarrhea. Natalee woke up at 2AM Wednesday with it....and now Momma and Daddy are getting it. Yuck! It is definitely that time of year, but I'm thankful it hit us this week instead of next so I can indulge myself in my grandma's dressing. She makes the BEST! Happy Thanksgiving to all in case I am not able to post in the next couple of days!

Day Out On The Town

Since I had to have my teeth cleaned today, I took advantage of my Momma and had her to come to spend the day with me. She keep an eye out on the kiddos at the dentist and while I sneaked around the corners of Toys R Us to buy Christmas gifts. We also made a few other stops along the way.....including Sam's. Somewhere between Hobby Lobby and Sam's, Nathan stuck an orange sticker on Natalee's nose. When we arrived at Sam's, we saw some friends of ours. Nathan and Natalee both were crashed out but we let our friends see them in the back of the van. They went on how cute they were and at the time I had NO idea that my daughter was sporting an orange nose at the time either. It wasn't until we got to Red Lobster to eat that Momma started cracking up laughing. This is what we saw in the back seat of the van.

Best Buds

Nathan's best buddy came over today to spend the day with him. They both played really hard and had a good time playing cowboys. Guess who were the BAD guys.........Yeap, us poor ol' girls - Natalee and her Momma.

Little Reindeer

We found some reindeer ears at Target today to use for an upcoming Christmas project I am working on.........Nathan had to try the new ears on his lil' sis. She liked them!

They're Resting Momma!!

Nathan said something pretty cute today that I just have to share. I had walked into the living room and noticed "the look" on Nathan's face...........yeap, he needed to go do the #2 in the potty. He told me if I would let him go to the mailbox with me he would go potty after we got back. Well, after our trip to the mailbox he did run in the bathroom to go. A few minutes later he waddles back out and says "Momma, I couldn't poo-poo". I asked him why. He said "The poo-poo is resting right now". It was so funny. But.......we ended the poo-poo's rest quickly. ha ha!

Sitting Up!

For the past week, Natalee has been trying to push herself up into a sitting position whenever she sits in her bouncy chair. When I would try to get her to sit alone with the boppy for support, she tended to fall forward.......but tonight, she sat upright all by herself! She was so excited!!! Goodness, she is growing up so fast!

Natalee is such a smart little girl for 4 months old! She knows when I say "milk" that it is time to eat...........and now she knows "sugar". When I say "Give Momma some sugar", she will open her mouth wide and give me a big ol' slobbery kiss on the cheek. I absolutely LOVE it!

RiverPark

It was such a beautiful day Saturday that we ventured out to the RiverPark. Can you believe 70 degree weather in November! We had such a good time and the leaves were so pretty! We had our usual picnic at Coolidge Park and Nathan played some ball with his Daddy. He is such a good ball player! Check out the video below of him hitting!
