Having some place to go is Home - Having someone to love is Family - Having both is a Blessing

Because I Love You!

This post will always stay on the top. To see the latest happenings in the Little Webb Family, please scroll down, but not before you take this post into serious consideration!

I'm not someone who talks a lot and says what I feel or think...but when I do, I hope people listen because I feel what I do say is important. The last couple of weeks, I have had a thought come into my mind, but I keep pushing it away thinking that if I really need to do this I will truly know it. Every day this thought keep recurring to me and after what I heard today in the news, I felt I need to do this. I ask you to please read all of this. I know a lot of you that may read this don't share my faith and I have never pushed you into believing as I do because I wanted you to respect me and not be offended....but I am willing to risk my friendship with you right now to let you know what I need to tell you. Please don't stop reading this. It is very important to me for you to read this.

I truly believe with ALL my heart that Jesus is coming soon.....sooner than we all think He is. I have been really concerned about fears I have had for my children. Those fears are resolved, even though Satan does try to stir me up about it at times...........but I need to tell you all too about Jesus because I want to make sure you go to Heaven with me too!

I know it is hard for some of you to believe in something you cannot see........but if you trust me and have respect for me believe me when I say Jesus is real!! He is more real to me than anything in this world. I believe with all my heart, soul and mind that He did come to this earth, lived among us, died to save us and is living in my heart! I want you all to believe this too! Please do try to seek Him out and have Him to help you to see He is real too! He will if you ask Him!

When you have assurance that what I say is true, please consider the following things. You cannot get to Heaven and receive salvation from sin unless you do the following. Please do not stop reading! Please!

In the Bible (I am using the New Living Translation), there are verses to help us know our need for God. The first verse is Romans 3:23. It says For all have sinned; all fall short of God's standard. This pretty much says we all are not perfect. No one is perfect. You can do lots of good things and say a lot of nice things, but we all still do bad things whether we admit it or not. I've been accused many times of being a Miss Goody Two-Shoes, but I am here to say I AM NOT! I try to be good and kind because I want people to see Jesus in me, but in my mind I am a terrible person. I know I cannot get into Heaven based on my kindness or whatever deed I do.....and neither can you. In God's eyes, sin is all the same.....whether we think bad things or go out and kill someone. It is all the same. According to Romans 6:23 the wages of sin is death....if we do not ask God to forgive us we will be separated from Him forever. You are probably thinking "so what? What do I need with God". You need Him more than you think. God gave us life and even if we don't care one iota for Him, He cares for you so much. He cares for us even though we treat Him like crap....and we do. I treat Him that way...but yet He still loves me and I can't imagine.......I don't want to imagine....being without Him.

Well, what can we do? Our world lives like we can do all things on our own.....so what can we do to get God's acceptance of us? In Titus 3:5 the Bible says He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. Then Romans 5:8 says But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. God sent Jesus to come to us to die for us on the cross. Jesus had the opportunity to not do it, but He did. I often wonder why did He have to die. But if you think of it.....would you die for someone who did something bad in their place? I might for my children, but I certainly wouldn't for you or anyone else....but Jesus did! It was the ultimate sacrifice. Is there any more of a way to show your love for someone? I think not at all. Because of His death, He took our penalty of sin so we would not have to suffer it.......but we have to accept that He did this. If we don't, we will take the penalty ourselves. We will be sent to Hell. I know a lot of people say "If God loves us why would He send us to Hell?" God is giving us a choice. If He made you follow Him, would you respect Him? Remember when you were a child....when your parents told you to do something and disciplined you, did you think "Gee! Thanks Mom and Dad! I'm so glad you are making me do this even though I'd rather do something else!" NO! Of course not! God doesn't want to force us to do something either. He wants you to love him and know how much He cares for you but He isn't going to force you to love Him. All you need to do is what John 1:12 says....But to all who believed Him and accepted Him, He gave the right to become children of God. John 3:16 says it all....For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.

If you want to become one of God's own, just say this little prayer or one of your own. All you need to do is tell God you are a sinner and need His forgiveness and that you want Him in your life. This prayer will guide you if you need help:

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need you in my life. Please forgive me of all I have done and please be the Lord of my life. Thank you for coming to earth and dying for me. Thank you for being my Saviour! Amen!

If you didn't pray this, I beg of you to please consider it before it is too late. I love you very much and want you to be in Heaven with me. Please if you have questions, go to another Christian you respect or email me (see link to right) and we will most certainly help you!

Thank you for reading this and please take this seriously. I love you too much not to say anything.

Toys

It's funny how kids are. Nathan got a lot of toys that he wanted for Christmas.....trains, cars, etc but you know that boy would rather play with Natalee's toys!

This evening Nathan was dragging around a little caterpillar that makes music and other noises when you pull the string. He was saying it was his pet. Every time Nathan would walk past his sister with "his pet" Natalee would reach out and grab her toy.....which resulted in "Momma! Natalee is getting my pet!"

I came up with a solution..........Natalee went to play with Nathan's train and McDonald playset. Needless to say, she has her caterpillar back. LOL!

No Infection

I finally was able to get a urine sample.....she doesn't have a urinary infection. Whew!

I think her medicine is kicking in now because she is blowing raspberries all over the place. :-)

Doctor's Visit

After Natalee threw up again this morning, I decided to call the doctor again. They told me to bring her in. She has an ear infection in her right ear, possible stomach virus and possible urinary tract infection. The doctor who saw her today told me that if she has diarrhea that will let me know about the virus. As for the urinary infection, they put a bag in Natalee's diaper to catch urine. When she goes later on tonight, I have to put a stick they gave me in it and if it changes colors she will have a tract infection and will have to call them back immediately.

I'll be glad when she is better. Nathan didn't get sick like this when he was little so this has been quite a bit worrisome. But she has some medicine to take now so all is much much better!

Sick

Natalee is sick.....she has a cough, runny nose and a temperature today. Poor thing. You can tell she is not feeling well because all she wants to do is sleep and nurse. Doctor said as long as she doesn't have a deep cough they can't do anything for her (babies can't have medicine anymore)....but we have been giving her Tylenol for the fever. She and I will definitely be staying home from church tomorrow.

Christmas Program

Nathan and all his little church buddies were in a Christmas program Sunday night. During rehearsals, he did such a good job. Then as soon as it was time, he walked out on stage, saw all the people and had a bad case of stage fright. The poor little guy cried through most of the program until right at the very end when he discovered a loose feather and started playing with it with all his friends.....distracting ALL of them from singing - LOL. But it went well and was a cute program......but poor Momma had to have aspirin when it was over. I think it was just as hard on me as it was Nathan. ha ha!
The program was about how children around the world celebrate Christ's birth. All the children dressed up as someone from a different country. Nathan was an American Indian.

Polar Express

Every year the Tennessee Valley Railroad has a special train ride that is based on the movie 'Polar Express'. It is a sell-out every year. Three months ago, Tripp's parents asked if they could take Nathan on this ride (Nathan LOVES trains). So Saturday night, we all went to ride the Polar Express. It was such a cute program for the kids. While on the ride, the story is told of the Polar Express while all the passengers munch on gingerbread cookies (Natalee LOVED those!) and drank chocolate milk. Along the way, we saw Christmas lights and Santa's Elves "little homes" and even some snow! When we reached Santa's workshop, the train turned around and had a surprise guest on board - SANTA! Nathan did really well with Santa- despite his Santaphobia. Santa gave everyone a bell from off his sleigh. It was a really nice ride.

Nathan's reaction when he saw Santa

Natalee had a YUCK - and I mean YUCK - diaper. It could be smelled MILES away!!! But Santa was brave and held her. She didn't pull his beard this time.

Walker or Jumper??

Pulled out the ol' walker last night to see what Natalee would do. She likes it but she thinks she has to jump to move. She jumps and it will roll a little bit across the floor. She also likes it when Nathan pushes her across the floor.

Merry Christmas From The Little Webb Family!!

Finger Foods

A new Publix opened in our town last week and I went to check it out. While there I noticed they had these finger foods by Gerber that Nathan ate when he was little for 3 for $5!!! I grabbed them for Natalee. I put her in the saucer with a handful......not expecting her to be able to eat them...but that little booger grabbed one and popped it right in her mouth! She loves them!

She is really coming along. My doctor told me that I could start trying to use a sippy with her! Can you imagine.......a sippy cup already!!! This is depressing!!!!!!!!!!

Smart Girl

Last night, I was laying on the floor with Natalee and she wanted to nurse. Her head was opposite from me so she started scooting on her back to get to me. She managed to turn 180 degrees around and was so proud! She is one smart cookie!

Baptism

I was giving Natalee a bath when Nathan came in and decided to help. He took the little cup I use to wash Natalee's hair with and said "Natalee, say your prayers!"

I asked Nathan why he said that..........he said:

I'm going to BAPTIZE Natalee!!! YIKES!!!!

Santa

We had our annual visit with Santa through the program at my Dad's work. This program is really nice and we always look forward to it every year. Every child/grandchild of the employees gets to visit with Santa and pick out a very nice toy.
Nathan was NOT about to sit with Santa this year although his sister was. We couldn't even bribe him with a TRAIN! That was what you call ultimate Santaphobia!
Natalee was asleep when I first put her in Santa's lap, but as soon as I turned to get out of the shot, she woke........she looked at Santa.............she grabbed a wad full of beard and pulled!!! Instead of saying HO HO HO......Santa was saying HELP HELP HELP!!! It was funny!

Family Day

Friday, Tripp took off from work and we headed downtown to spend the day together. We spent a couple of hours at the aquarium, ate pizza then headed to the IMAX to see Polar Express in 3D. We had a really good time!

6 Month Check-up

Natalee went for her 6 month check-up today. She received more rounds of vaccines in her leg and mouth. She did well handling the shots. Thankfully, we had a good nurse to administer them to her.

Although she looks bigger than Nathan did at this age, she is going to be a tall and light-weight like her brother. Compared to other little girls her age, she is 95% taller than all of them........but on weight she is 50% smaller, which according to doctor is perfect in his book (chart is based on average weigh of American kids, who are typically obese anyways).

She weighs 15 lbs 8 ounces and is 27 1/4" long. Man.........these 6 months have flown by!

Leapfrog

One of Nathan's favorite toys when he was little was his Leapfrog table........now it is becoming his little sister's favorite. Here is Natalee enjoying the table.
